Pura Vida means Pure Life. It is used in Costa Rica as a greeting, a farewell and a statement of overall goodwill. It is a summary of the Costa Rican sense of life, and the reason we chose Costa Rica as our offshore production centre.

Costa Rican life is rich with beauty. The people are genuine and uncomplicated. Family is precious, children are cherished, life is to be lived. Pura vida encapsulates a compelling philosophy - simple, and strangely addictive.

Our centre of operations is Atenas, a small city described by National Geographic as having the best climate in the world. We are only 45 minutes from the capital city of San Jose, and 20 minutes from an excellent business and technical college. The standard of living is high, the cost of living is low. Here, a shopping cart full of fresh produce can be had for $5US, and a monthly hydro bill is around $15. This enables us to hire college educated people and pay them well, while still keeping our costs to you lower than you would normally pay for in-house personnel.

The office is supervised and managed by one of our Canadian Vice-Presidents, who has decided to make his home there. We are also developing an internship program that could allow our North American staff to spend three months or a year living and working in Atenas.

There is no singular approach to what we do. Each client is different, but our aim is constant: we seek to improve whatever we can, leaving you with more freedom to pursue the things that really matter.

Pura Vida!
